After sharpening your knife with a finishing whetstone or a super finishing whetstone, you can get sharper cutting blade with this Natural Leather Strop. Smooth leather on the surface cleanly removes fine burrs on the cutting edge of kitchen knives. If the sharpness of the knife is not good, rubbing the cutting edge on this product may temporarily improve the sharpness.[ADVANTAGE]
Leather strops have proved a very popular alternative to a 10000 or 12000 grit whetstone for honing knives. The soft leather is glued to a layer of foam rubber that acts as a cushion between the leather and the wooden base. This base also has a layer of foam rubber glued to its underside to make it skid-proof.

[HOW TO USE]

1. Put the leather strop in a stable place. 2. When honing the double bevel knife, hold the knife at an angle of 40 to 45°.

4. Do the same movement with other parts of the entire blade. 5. After honing, clean the burr on the surface of the leather strop with a soft cloth.

[RECOMMENDED BUYERS]

We recommend this leather strop for knives and for chisels. The leather strop will chamfer the bevels adjoining the cutting edge. While this may be more desirable on knife blades.
